Queensland Beef Corridors (QBC) welcomes the Australian and Queensland Governments’ announcement of the commencement of two further Early Works Projects under the Queensland Beef Corridors Program:
- Clermont–Alpha Road in Isaac Regional Council (between 42 and 45 kilometres south of Clermont)
- Fitzroy Developmental Road (Bauhinia–Duaringa) in Central Highlands Regional Council (between 40 and 45 kilometres north of Bauhinia)
QBC strongly welcome the commencement of these additional Early Works projects. The upgrades will improve road safety, reliability and freight efficiency for producers and transport operators across the corridor network.
These projects represent another positive step forward in strengthening key freight routes across Central Queensland and improving critical links for the regions beef supply chain.
The works demonstrates ongoing collaboration between all levels of governments to deliver practical, on-ground improvements that are important for the movement of cattle and agricultural goods in the regions.
QBC looks forward to seeing construction progress and further investment in Queensland Beef Corridors that supports regional economic growth.
